Nokia Entertainment Flip Cover announced for Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 3.1 Plus
HMD Global is really active nowadays. They are mass producing smartphones and are trying to saturate the market by quickly filling up all the possible gaps with good looking and capable phones. They also speeded up the production of their accessories. Just recently we saw new audio equipment being announced together with Nokia 7.1. But, something that we didn’t see live, or maybe not even in the demo area at the 7.1 or even 3.1 Plus events was new protective covers. Well, HMD quietly announced the Nokia Entertainment Flip Cover for new Nokia 7 and also for Nokia 3.1 Plus. Unlike for the Nokia 2.1 and 5.1 Plus, the cover for Nokia 7.1 comes in four colors, blue, gray, cream, and black. Similar info is still not available for the Nokia 3.1 Plus.
Here is the screenshot from the Nokia web page that shows the basic specs and confirms that Entertainment Flip Cover is made also for Nokia 3.1.
The price, as well as the availability, are still not known or at least shown on the Nokia web page. It would be nice if it could finally become available online or even offline because Nokia needs to widen its portfolio, its ecosystem if you like, not only on various iteration of mid-range phones but on accessories too. I think that there are many flip or regular covers, now we wait for speaker, wireless charger and watch maybe?!.
