Nokia Mobile lauched its devices in Ireland

Nokia Mobile, or HMD Global, held an event in Ireland where they presented the latest Nokia phones for that important market. Ireland used to be Nokia’s stronghold, and I’m glad to see that HMD is dedicated to winning important markets back by this kind of promotion. All you need to do is make some fuss and call some Nokia fans to witness it. Jimmyireland from Techbuzzireland and a huge Nokia fan, was there and made a nice little report about the event.

Nokia 7 plus will be coming on all networks on May 1st as a SIM-free device, for €399.
Nokia 6.1, or new Nokia 6, on the other hand, will be exclusive to Three and will cost you €229, which is the same price as for the last years model.
The definite sensation of the event, Nokia 8110 4G, will be available in Ireland for €79 starting from May 1st.

Nokia did show the Nokia 8 Sirocco there, but that phone will be coming shortly after the above-mentioned models. Price is not yet revealed.
It was nice to see ZEISS there at the event, showing their camera setup installed in Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 plus. Last time I saw them together with Nokia was back at the MWC2014, but they were reconnected at last year’s IFA2017.

Thanks Jimbo for the cover 😉
