Nokia 2 coming soon to Croatia; available in Serbia

By launching the Nokia 2, HMD started conquering the lower price range segment of the smartphone market. Nokia 2 isn’t the Formula 1 among smartphones, but it has some hardware and software features that are making her stand out from the competition. First of all, it is the good quality and energy efficient screen, relatively large battery capacity that will enable two-day usage of the phone and decent camera obviously, taken from the Nokia 3. Additionally, Nokia 2 will get the Android Oreo which is not the standard practice in the low-price segment.

Snapdragon 212 isn’t the best choice of processor (together with a single GB of RAM), but Nokia 2 doesn’t aim heavy smartphone users, but rather want to be a connection between the feature and smart phones.

Here are the specifications of the Nokia 2.

  • 5-inch LTPS HD display, Gorilla Glass 3
  • Snapdragon 212
  • 1GB RAM LPPDDR 3, 8GB internal storage
  • 4100mAh battery
  • 8MP rear + 5MP front camera
  • Colors: Copper, Black and White
  • OS: Android 7.1.1 Nougat (Oreo coming soon)

Nokia 2 will be coming to Croatian market on 4th December 2017, and the price will be €134, or HRK 999. This price is quite close to the current price of the Nokia 3, which can be found even cheaper than €140. But, I believe that some operators will be offering the Nokia 2 for even lower price than the Nokia 3. Then, those two won’t be competing with each other. In Serbia, Nokia 2 is already available in some stores for around 15,000RSD or about €125.
