Gallery: Father and Son – #Nokia 3310 (2000) vs. Nokia 3310 (2017)

HMD Global surprised the world when they announced the new Nokia 3310 (2017) at MWC17 this year. Usually, it’s not smart to bring back old legends, that’s why their legends, but this time the risky use of a unique phone name could prove to be a wise move, considering that HMD is practically starting from zero with the Nokia devices. The new Nokia 3310 (2017) went on sale in dozens of countries, and in most the phone is already sold out. The same thing happened today in Finland.

Early buyers that were among the first that pre-ordered the new Nokia 3310 from one of the retailers/operators in Finland, from today should start receiving the device, but a day before the official sale start in Finland, all retailers already sold the whole first batch via pre-orders. It seems that Finland really loves the 3310 (2017).

It’s a good thing that the Finnish press got the review units earlier, and among them is SuomiMobiili.fi that did a short review of the 3310, with a beautiful photoshoot of the device and the original Nokia 3310. Take a look at the great photos down below.

Eero from SuomiMobiili.fi concludes about the device that it’s both – worth buying and not worth buying, depending for what will you use the device.  If you plan to use the 3310 as your primary device, apart from the design, a lot of less expensive Nokia feature phones come with the same features and could be a better buy. On the other hand, for folks that appreatiate design and wil use the phone more as a secondary device, there is nothing like the Nokia 3310 (2017) on the market.

Here a bonus photo with the yellow Nokia Lumia 1520. Beautifully designed devices, indeed.
