CPU and GPU of the Snapdragon 660 were also being upgraded. The octa-core Kryo 260 CPU will bring 20% improvement in performance over the previous 653 model, and Adreno 512 GPU will be 30% better than Adreno 508.
The Snapdragon 660 is available now while 630 is expected to launch at the end of the May.
We know that HMD Global is cooking something for the higher mid-range class of smartphones. In addition, it is reasonable to say that Nokia 7 (or 8) could be one of the first phones with Snapdragon 660 processor. It would be nice if HMD could finally bring previously launched phones in the market and not make us wait a lot after new models have been announced.
