Video: #Nokia 6 is not bad for gaming

The YouTube user that brought to us the first speed comparison of Nokia 6 and Galaxy S8, now did a gaming performance comparison. Before reading further, it’s good to note that XEETECHCARE uses the TA-1003 (Hong Kong, Taiwan) version of Nokia 6 with Google Play Android and 4GB of RAM. The global version of Nokia 6 priced at €229 has 3GB of RAM, while the global limited edition Nokia 6 Arte Black comes with 4GB of RAM. The standard global version, because of less RAM, could perform a little worse in gaming. Furthermore, we already know the Galaxy S8 is a better gaming device, but the point of the video is to show the difference and is it tolerable considering the 3 times lower price of the 6. Take a look at the video down below.

It’s noticeable, because of low-end hardware, that the Nokia 6 is slower in game loadings, but the overall gaming performance is good. Also, we need to take into account that some games by default change graphics settings based on the phone’s hardware, and some changes cannot be manually undone.

All in all, the Nokia 6 seems to be a decent device, with overall good performance, even in gaming, great design and built quality, priced at €229 for the 3GB/32GB model and €299 for the 4GB/64GB model. The device is expected to go on sale this quarter and will be available in Europe, Africa, Middle East, India, APAC region countries on day one.
