At the upcoming MWC17 in Barcelona HMD will launch Nokia 3, Nokia 5, global version of Nokia 6, and a new Nokia 3310. Nokia 3 is an entry level Android 7.0 Nougat device, with a retail price of €149 ($158). More is revealed about the Nokia 5, an Android 7.0 device placed between the entry level Nokia 3, and the midranger Nokia 6. Nokia 5 specifications are:
- Snapdragon 430
- 2GB RAM
- 5.2-inch 720p display
- 12MP main camera
- 199€ ($211) price tag
Nokia 6 should go on sale with a retail price of €249 ($264). Retail price usually means “price in store”, what is a little contrary to Nokia’s tradition of revealing the suggest price before local taxes. Blass says that HMD’s primary market for MWC “to be ” announced devices is Europe, where local taxes range from 19% to 27%.
Evan also confirmed the rumor VTechgraphy published last week, that HMD is preparing a re-make of the iconic Nokia 3310. The new 3310 will be priced at 59€, with Europe as its primary market.
We previously heard about a device called Nokia Heart with similar specifications like the rumored Nokia 5. This device was also mentioned in previous leaks as Nokia E1.
