YouTube Shorts coming to Nokia 106 and 110 in India

Feature phones might sound like they do not belong to the 21st century, but these devices are still quite popular. They offer basic usability, such as the ability to make long calls, long battery life, and durability. Additionally, feature phones provide a way to escape the super-fast and information-bombarded lifestyle that many people are living today.

In India, feature phones remain rather popular, and that is the reason why Nokia Mobile is consistently releasing new phones. They are also introducing new services. For the existing Nokia 106 and 110 4G phones, HMD will be rolling out the popular YouTube Shorts app, a cloud-based app designed for feature phones.

These phones also support the UPI Scan and Pay app, enabling users to make hassle-free transactions and adding a bit of smart functionality to feature phones. The mentioned apps are not the only offerings; users will also gain access to news, weather updates, cricket scores, and games like 2048 or Tetris, in addition to Snake.

This is noteworthy when considering that the Nokia 106 costs Rs 2199, while the Nokia 110 4G can be purchased for Rs 2399.

The services will be rolled out over the air in the next two weeks, so check your phones around New Year for Cloud Apps.

Cheers to Ficus87 for the tip ?
