Video: #Nokia Lumia 520 running the #Android 7.0 Nougat
Android 7.0 Nougat on Nokia Lumia 520 is something that you don’t see every day. Video demo of Nougat running Lumia 520 is a deed done by the member of the XDA programmer community called thinhx2. He ported the latest version of Android onto the device, but Lumia 520 cant serve as the daily driver since the OS is not stable. But it is working on it and it can use the split screen system to run two applications on the screen simultaneously.
Lets just refresh our memory with basic info about the Lumia 520. This model was bestselling Lumia and it has a 4 inch screen, dual core Snapdragon S4 (2x 1.0 GHz) processor and just 512 MB of RAM. The same author managed to start the Nougat on Lumia 525 which has double the amount of RAM. Hopefully he can manage to stabilise the ported OS and maybe use hardware control buttons instead of on screen ones.
