We are all aware that HMD is slowly but surely filling up the gaps right before it brings Nokia back to smartphone business. It is no secret that HMD Global consists of Nokia’s once great Devices and services division employees. Those people that once produced and successfully marketed some of the best mobile phones and gadgets to the market are back to do the same once again, but in a slightly different manner.
One of the key things in making the new Nokia smartphones a success is definitely marketing, and there can Tim McDonald help. He has just joined HMD Global, as a director of digital marketing. Past two years he was doing the same job for Jolla, and prior to that he was working for Nokia in a similar position since August, 2010.
