Vertu unveils new luxury devices

Luxury brand Vertu has announced a wave of new products, including smartphones, a smartwatch, and even a smart ring.
Back in 2012, Nokia sold Vertu to EQT but kept a 10% minority stake at the time . However, since then, Vertu has changed hands multiple times, gone through bankruptcy, and been relaunched under new ownership. Nokia sold its remaining 10% of the company stake back in 2015.
Despite its turbulent history, Vertu is still pushing out some interesting (and very expensive) products:
- Grand Watch – a luxury smartwatch with bold design and premium materials
- Agent Q – a rugged-looking high-end phone
- Aura Ring Ultra – a smart ring with health and lifestyle features
- Metavertu series (Curve & Max) – Web3-focused smartphones with exotic materials
- Quantum Flip – a luxury foldable phone
These devices continue Vertu’s traditional formula: high-end materials, niche features, and pricing far beyond mainstream flagships. Funnily, Vertu phones are the only ones shown only from the back (which is their best side).
I’ll be honest, these aren’t really products most Nokiamob readers (or anyone, really) will buy. Vertu plays in a completely different universe of ultra-luxury tech. Still, it’s undeniably interesting to see a brand that started life inside Nokia continue to experiment with bold, unusual devices. Even if the connection to Nokia today is mostly historical, it’s a reminder of how far the brand once stretched.
