Vertu is back with Vertu Aster P

Nokia’s former luxury brand Vertu, after a long saga of changing owners, invited Chinese media this week on a launch event for their new device. The brand that still carries the “handmade in England” sign introduced a new Android smartphone – Aster P.

The Aster P respects Vertu’s heritage of stand-out and robust designs, coming with a 4.97-inch 1080p display covered with sapphire glass, Snapdragon 660 and 6GB of RAM. We also have a 3200mAh battery, 12MP rear and 20MP front camera, as well as 128GB of storage. Specs were never the main thing about Vertu phone, but the Aster P will have OK performance, considering the well-performing Nokia 7 Plus features a Snapdragon 660. The Aster P runs Android 8.1 out of the box.

There are seven different versions of Aster P, divided into Baroque and Gothic, differing in color and Materials. The starting price is 4,200 dollars or 3,666 euros, and you can pre-order the device already at JD.com if you’re from China.
