Check the live event for Nokia 8.3 5G, 5.3, 1.3 and 5310 in case you missed it

Nokia Mobile held for the first time an online announcement event due to the SARS-CoV-19 outbreak of pandemic scale. In case you haven’t seen the event, you can check it on their YouTube account. It was quite nice, informative, and concise. In 35 minutes, Florian Seiche gave us a nice introduction with the future plans of HMD Global, Cristiano Amon shared some info about the collaboration between Nokia Mobile and Qualcomm, Juho Sarvikas presented new phones, Raun Forsyth told us a bit about the design and Delphine Varenne shared the marketing strategy for new Nokia phones.

In the live stream, we could also see the performance of the 5.3’s camera by finish photographer Konsta Punkka which is a nice addition but it would be better to show why is Ultra-Wide camera coming with super large pixels instead of main 64 MP camera.
Anyway, the live stream was quite good and I’m wondering why it wasn’t the same done with the launch of the Nokia 2.3 or 2.2. That would save a lot of resources for the startup.
While a bit more information about the devices could have been shared, I am truly looking forward to some hands-on videos that Nokia Mobile can easily do by their employees. Those videos are missing now since the press couldn’t get their hands on the devices. It would be good to ship some review devices right now so folks can get informed about new Nokia devices and eventually decide which one to go for.
