Nokia collaborated Innventure to innovate in satellite communication technology

Nokia Technologies used to be a division where new technologies were developed and some of those technologies we are using today. That cute eight eyed camera in our header is a product of Nokia Technologies, as well as OZO Audio used in Nokia and other smartphones. Nowadays Nokia Technologies is also playing an important part in licensing different technologies that could bring an extra profit to Nokia. To speed up the process of finding some newly developed tech commercially useful, Nokia collaborated with Innventure, which is specialized in commercializing innovative technologies. Their first task will be to monetize the innovative satellite communication technology that is originating from Nokia Bell Labs. Innventure will acquire the rights to use Adaptive Bandwidth Management (ABM) technology, which improves bandwidth utilization, security, and resilience of satellite systems, and be responsible for further development and commercialization of this technology. Since this is an area beyond Nokia’s core business, the help of Innventure will be crucial, but the whole process will be led by the Nokia Technologies department. Now I’m wondering what next tech will be commercialized. Maybe the facehugger face sensor device.
