Nokia and T-Mobile US Expand 5G Partnership
Nokia has signed a major multi-year deal with T-Mobile US to expand and modernize its award-winning 5G network. The Finnish tech giant will supply cutting-edge AirScale equipment, including Habrok Massive MIMO and Levante basebands, powered by energy-efficient ReefShark chips.
The partnership aims to improve coverage, boost performance, and support AI-driven network optimization across the US. T-Mobile’s 5G already reaches 98% of Americans, and this upgrade sets the stage for 5G Advanced and future innovations.
This is a great news for Nokia and company presence at the US market. On teh other hand, for T-Mobile this means more coverage, faster 5G and smarter network with AI-RAN tools.
