HMD updating Nokia and HMD devices
HMD has released the September security patch for several Nokia devices, including the X30, G60, G42, and the first update for the HMD Crest Max, which is exclusive to India. I received the update on the X30 and G42, though my G60 is still facing issues with the July update installation, so I can’t confirm the update for that one. However, you previously reported on the updates, so here are the details:
- Nokia X30 | 95.26 MB | September patch
- Nokia G42 | 42.18 MB | September patch
- Nokia G60 | | September patch
Additionally, the HMD Crest Max received a new Android 14 build (V1.400), bringing some unknown UI and system improvements along with the August patch. The update is available in India and is approximately 233 MB. I don’t know what is new, but hopefully, some Crest Max owners will share the news.
