Historic Launch: HMD 105 and HMD 110 in India

The only constant in this world is change, and the smartphone market is no exception. Brands in the market are also fluid. HMD is a new brand poised to take over the feature phone market, a space that Nokia might vacate in a year or two. This transition begins today with the first announcement of HMD-branded feature phones.

HMD Global has introduced the HMD 105 and HMD 110 feature phones in India. Key highlights include built-in UPI for digital payments, auto call recording, MP3 player, wired and wireless FM radio, and multi-language support. The main difference between the two is that the HMD 105 has dual LED flash while the HMD 110 has a rear camera.

The HMD 105, available in black, purple, and blue, is priced at ₹999 and features a dual LED flash. The HMD 110, available in black and green, is priced at ₹1199 and includes a rear camera. Both models have a 1000mAh battery, offering up to 18 days of standby time, and come with a one-year replacement guarantee.

Starting today, the phones will be sold via retail stores, e-commerce sites, and HMD.com.
