HMD announced rebranded XR21 and T21 tablet

The new business plan of HMD included the announcement of phones under their own brand, with the first one being the affordable HMD Pulse (with some market-specific variations), along with the announcement of Nokia feature phones and rebranded previously announced Nokia devices.

While the world is still waiting for the HMD Fusion, which is actually more than just a phone, the HMD XR21 and HMD T21 were quietly announced. The company rebranded the Nokia XR21, the toughest Nokia smartphone on the market and probably the only one assembled in Europe, and the Nokia T21 tablet, the only tablet available in the market.

HMD didn’t change the specs of the two devices. The only changes are the color (Black Steel) and the new HMD logo placed on the back of the devices. However, the HMD T21 also got a fresh new camera module design, and the body is slimmer and lighter, but just slightly. Also, the devices are getting the same number of OS updates and security patches as the Nokia models.
