Arrow to have a better hardware than Pulse?

While Europe got Pulse, and the US got Vibe, people in India are yet to see HMD’s first smartphone. The contest announced by HMD has concluded, and the chosen name for the first HMD phone in India is Arrow.

It would have been nice if HMD had launched the device simultaneously with the conclusion of the naming contest, but the device will be arriving in a couple of weeks. However, the question remains: if the name is different, will the hardware also differ? According to some recent information from sources close to HMD, Arrow will indeed be somewhat distinct from Pulse or Vibe.

A source reportedly close to the device’s development has informed The Mobile Indian that HMD Arrow isn’t merely a rebrand of HMD Pulse. The device will feature a different design, and more powerful hardware, including a better camera and processor, and it will support 5G networks.

Now, the only thing left to discover is the price. Judging by previous pricing strategies, it should be below 20,000 INR. However, 5G smartphones in India can be found for around 10,000 INR, which could compel HMD to price it reasonably.
