Nokia X30 and XR21 receiving new patch

Nokia Mobile has started releasing the October security update for more of its Nokia smartphones. The update is now available for the Nokia X30 and Nokia XR21. Earlier, it was also released for the Nokia G50 and Nokia X10 (no screenshot available).

Here are the update details:

• Nokia X30 | 98.42 MB | available globally
• Nokia XR21 | 79.09 MB | available globally
• Nokia G50 | 101 MB | available globally

After a long time, I turned on my G21 and found a September security patch that brought only 17.96 MB of updates. I’m not sure if I missed that update, but if you have a G21, please check for updates. It took quite a while for the phone to install it, reminding me of how slow the G21 can be.

Now, you know what to do. If not, head to Settings > System > System Update > Check for Updates, and please let us know if you have received the update.
