Nokia Mobile is doing well in Australia

Nokia Mobile has done a good job with the Nokia X30 and G60, although there is always room for improvement. These two phones are well built, but somewhat unattractive, as they have lost their character with that generic camera module and use older hardware specs for which they charge quite a bit of money. But these phones are good mid-range phones that you can do all the job well with.

While the dream of being in the top five in many markets has been shattered, Nokia Mobile is doing well in Australia. At least it was in 2022. According to the IDC reports for 2022, Nokia Mobile is the fourth largest handset manufacturer in the Australian market with a market share of 3.6%, just ahead of Google. Apple, Samsung and Oppo are in the top three places, with the first two accounting for almost 80% of the market.

The portfolio has been pretty good in recent years, and sales have probably been led by the Nokia X10, X20, G50, and XR20. Now there is the X30, G60 and XR21, which may not generate the same hype but could be a good purchase for those who need a robust and powerful phone.
