Nokia is again one of the most ethical companies in the world.

Modern capitalism thrives on constant financial growth which makes it difficult for companies to be ethical. However, there are some that manage to do it and those companies should be role models for all the others. Nokia has been recognized and named as one of the most ethical companies in the world by Ethisphere, which is a leader that defines and advances the standards of ethical business practices that fuel corporate character, marketplace trust and business success.

This recognition is the sixth overall and fifth in a row for Nokia which means that all the transformation being done over the past few years hasn’t changed the way the Finns relate to their employees and the overall quality of the work environment.

Ethisphere honoured 136 companies in 22 countries and 45 industries. Nokia is the only Finnish company that was honoured and one of five winners in the telecommunications industry.

Now I ask myself would it be ethical of Nokia to start making phones once again?
