*Updated* New Nokia 39-inch and 43-inch Smart Android TV launched by StreamView

StreamView launched the 24-inch Nokia Smart TV last month, but according to Bluetooth, StreamView was supposed to launch three new Smart TVs in total. Now, those two unannounced Nokia Smart TVs are out as well. The new models are coming with 39-inch and 43-inch display size.

To be clear, StreamView already sells the Nokia 43-inch Smart TV with a UHD (Ultra High Definition) panel, but the new model will have a FHD (Full HD) panel. While similar to the 24-inch TV, the 39-inch model is yet another HD Smart TV, which is surprising since the 32-inch Nokia TV comes with an FHD display unit.

Everything else is pretty much the same when it comes to the specifications of these new Smart TVs. Both of them come in Black color and have tabletop pedestal. Powered by the ARM CA53 Quad-Core CPU and Mali470MP3 GPU, the TVs integrate 1 GB of DDR3 RAM with 8 GB of eMMC storage.

While the display quality is taken care of by the support of HDR10, the 2 x 8 W speakers are supported by Dolby Digital 2.0/5.1. The accompanying Bluetooth remote control (RC) has backlit keys and dedicated buttons to access Google Assistant, Netflix, and YouTube.

As always, both the Nokia Smart TVs are compatible with terrestrial antenna, satellite, or cable-based connection using the built-in triple tuner. Dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac; 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, and built-in Chromecast take care of the wireless connectivity.

As for wired connectivity, given below are the options that the two TVs offer:

  • Three CEC-supported HDMI ports.
  • Two USB 2.0 ports.
  • Digital audio (coaxial) port for sound systems or soundbars.
  • Audio/Video IN (3.5 mm) port for an analog device.
  • VGA port
  • CI slot for subscription-based TV services with CI+ interface for conditional access modules.
  • SatCR support for connecting up to 8 receivers to a SatCR LNB.

For some reason, which is best known to StreamView, both the new Smart TVs are still not listed on its webshop, so the product pages on Nokia’s site link to Amazon. And even there the TVs are not up for sale till now. Fortunately, a store called Europhoto mentions the cost of Nokia 39-inch Smart TV as €399 (₹34530, US$471).

Update: The Nokia 39-inch HD Smart TV is available in Germany via Amazon for €333 (₹29750, US$405), which is around €37 less than the official price of Nokia 32-inch FHD Smart TV.

However, the price of the Nokia 43-inch FHD Smart TV remains unknown for now. We will add the price here as soon as we get informed about it. Just for a rough idea, the price should be somewhere between €369.9 and €499.9 (₹43260, US$590), based on the cost of 32-inch FHD TV and 43-inch UHD TV.
