Nokia 1.4 quietly announced

The info about the Nokia 1.4 has been dropping for weeks, and now this affordable Android GO device is quietly announced on the page. From what I can see on the official video, this might be the best Android GO device that Nokia has announced so far.

The design follows the recently announced devices. The body is nicely shaped, made of polycarbonate plastic, and has a nice texture at the back. Nokia 1.4 has a circular camera module that brings the 8 MP camera sensor, LED flash in the center, and a 2MP macro sensor. Nokia Mobile is bringing Google’s Android GO camera app which supports Night mode and a Portrait modes, which is nice for a price range.

There is also a fingerprint reader and a speaker cutout at the bottom. On the front, Nokia 1.4 is packing a 6.517” HD+ with a 20:9 ratio and a 5 MP selfie camera. Nokia Mobile is still bringing the dedicated Google Assistant button, which can’t be programmed, but can be deactivated, luckily.

The device will be powered by Qualcomm® 215 CPU and will be coming with 1, 2 or 3 GB of RAM depending on a region. There will be 16, 32 or 64 GB of internal memory, also depends on a region, which can be extended up to 128GB with micro SD cards. The 4000 mAh battery should be enough to power the device for two days.
