Nokia Mobile’s new battery gets TÜV certification and pops up on eBay

In mid-December of 2020, Nokia Mobile got three new batteries, namely WT340 (5050 mAh), CN110 (4470 mAh), and V730 (3900 mAh), certified by testing organizations. According to FCC, the upcoming Nokia 1.4 should ship with the V730 battery. Now, a new Nokia battery was certified by TÜV Rheinland Japan on January 11. This battery carries the model number BL-29CI and has a rating of 2950 mAh at 3.8 V (11.21 Wh).

Interestingly, someone is already selling the battery on eBay. There is also a picture of the battery with the manufacturing date as November 2, 2020, with HMD Global’s branding. This particular battery has also been used by a company called Itel for its smartphones like Itel A25 Pro and Itel A36 in 2020.

Not much is known, but this battery might ship with yet another smartphone from the C-series or with a new low-budget carrier-locked smartphone for the US.
