Nokia PureBook X14 laptop hands on

The last time a Nokia logo was on a laptop was back in 2009 when Nokia’s Devices and Services Department announced Nokia Booklet 3G. Nokia brand is back again on laptops thanks to Flipkart that just recently launched Nokia PureBook X14. This laptop is quite interesting because it falls in the ultralight category of laptops with just 1.1 kg. It has a 14″ IPS LCD Full HD screen, and also comes with 10th Gen Intel Core i5 Quad-core processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512 GB SSD, dual-band WiFi, BT5.1, and support for Dolby Vision and Atmos audio, which is a nice addition to the pureness of the PureBook.

Nokia PureBook also has Windows Home 10 pre-installed. I like the fact that the body of the laptop is made out of magnesium, which makes it sturdy, lightweight, and actually affordable since its price is ₹59,990 or 660€. Another great feature is a backlit keyboard, which is something I lack on my 4 years old laptop.

The only thing I find strange is that the bottom part of the laptop lifts together with the screen lid when you try to open it. Maybe the display hinge is a bit too tight, or maybe that is just the case…

Check out a few hands-on videos of laptops that are already available on YouTube.
