Nokia C1 Plus already in stock in Australia

Nokia C1 Plus should represent the ultimate affordable Nokia smartphone that will be bringing LTE connectivity to the masses at a low price. This device will be running the latest GO version of Android, which is a standard for low-end phones that have only 1 GB of RAM. The 1 GB of RAM might seem low, but with the hardware specs kept at basics, the price of this entry smartphone comes closer to the price of feature phones.

Nokia C1 Plus basic specs

  • Model: TA-1314
  • Colors: Blue, Red
  • SIM: Dual SIM
  • OS: Android 10 Go
  • RAM: 1 GB
  • ROM: 16 GB
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz (802.11 b/g/n)

It seems that C1 Plus is going to be super affordable, according to the Australian retailer Solutions by Brandon, which is selling it at 90.46 AUD, or approximately 56 € (5030 INR). At this price, the Nokia C1 Plus is cheaper than Nokia 1 Plus, which was announced at 79€. That phone is also cheaper than the Nokia 2720, or 800 Tough, and that makes you wonder what if KaiOS phones have any future. Interestingly, Solutions by Brandon seems to be having Nokia C1 Pus on stock, but it is better to wait with the shopping till the phone is officially announced.

C1 Plus might be a great phone for the emerging markets where folks are still relying on their Nokia feature phones, or as a backup phone at your workplace or car.
