Dear friends from MOZO have sent us their stylish Fabric and Leather protective case for Nokia 6.1 for a durability test. This case is part of their latest line which is designed in Helsinki and made in EU what should raise the quality level. The cover protected the device well, but the looks of the case deteriorated quickly. That was kind of expected since we got the light version of the case that is decorated with light brown Spanish leather at t light gray fabric. Bottom leather part accumulated dirt that couldn’t be removed without causing damage to the leather. This all made the cover look worn out much sooner than I expected. If you didn’t see it before, check the review of light Fabric and Leather protective case for Nokia 6.1 here.
Anyway, MOZO has sent us a dark version for a test now. I must say that in one week of usage, the case looks magnificent. The level of protection is the same, but there aren’t any concerns if you grab your phone with unwashed hands, or just after you apply your hand cream. If any dirt accumulates, and it will with time, you won’t notice that. This will make you keep the case on the device for a much longer time, and justify the costs (€28.90). I would still advise not to place the device with the cover on in tight pockets since there is a chance for MOZO metallic logo at the back to come off.
And now that bonus. MOZO being cool as they are, sent us a new Fabric and Leather flip cover (dark) for Nokia 7 Plus that I’ll be testing in the next week or so. The flip cover is great since it has a magnetic lock for the cover, two credit card pockets and also a larger pocket for the money. Also, it can be used as a stand, which will serve the owners of the 7 Plus well since they will surely try to watch TV series or movie on that large HD display. This all does cost a bit, and you’ll have to pay €39.90 for this flip case.
