Nokia 6300 (2007) unboxing and hands on video

Now when everybody is waiting for the unboxing and first hands-on of Nokia 6300 4G, maybe it is best to revisit the unboxing and hands-on video of the original Nokia 6300. The original was launched back in 2007 when this phone was considered an upper midrange feature phone. It came with a stylish design and a bit of metal incorporated in its body.

Nokia 6300 had a 2-inch QVGA screen but was coming with a 2MP camera that had the capability of digitally zooming up to 8 times. I am always astounded by the number of extra accessories packed inside the box. Besides the classic headphones, charger, and other usual stuff, you would be getting a micro SD card and sometimes a hand strap, and that user manual looked great as well.

Do check out the unboxing and a short hands on video of Nokia 6300 (2007) made by great Nokia Phones Collection YouTube channel.

With the new Nokia 6300, we are getting maybe a slightly modern device since it can run WhatsApp, YouTube, and some social network apps, but I do wish that Nokia Mobile would invest a bit more in bringing us the real homage to the old days. Polycarbonate body can’t replace the metal body used in the old 6300, and like with 8110 4G, the new Nokia originals do miss a touch of premium-ness that the old models had. But, their purpose is a bit different nowadays, and if they had a bit more premium design and build, the price would probably be premium as well.
