Nokia Mobile today released two new YouTube videos for the 2020 affordable flagship Nokia 8.3 5G. The first video is a new James Bond and Nokia 8.3 5G promo, while the other is a backstage look at a photo shoot done with the Nokia 8.3 5G and agent Nomi, played by British Lashana Lynch.
The promo video clearly shows the Nokia 8.3 and agent Nomi. The new 00 agent uses Nokia 8.3 and Google Assistant to search images, use Google Maps and make phone calls. We can see the 5G logo on the device’s status bar and the nice design of the phone. The line “Is the connection secured?” – “It’s a Nokia phone” did make me chuckle a bit and overall it is an ok commercial. Some comments pointed out that it is ironic that a British spy uses Google services knowing Google’s reputation for privacy, but this is a movie after all.
The second video shows what happened behind the scenes of a photo shoot content creator Ben Maclean and James Bond’s Lashana Lynch did with the help of the Nokia 8.3 5G. The Nokia 8.3 is called the “only gadget you’ll ever need” and that phone “features four cameras to enable 64MP pictures, 4k filming and ZEISS cinematic film effects.” We received an image that was the product of the photo shoot that you can find down below. I couldn’t find other images from the photo shoot.
Today, the first reviews of the Nokia 8.3 5G were published, meaning the device is finally ready to hit the market and Nokia Mobile markets it as a Bond phone, which is a good promo message for the broader public. Today at 16:00 BST, Nokia Mobile will be holding a new launch event where we might learn more about Nokia 8.3’s final sale start, Bond collaboration and see new devices.
