Nokia 5.3, Nokia C3, Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 announced in India

Nokia Mobile finally announced new devices for India. The customers in India will finally get their hands on the feature phones Nokia 125, Nokia 150, and on this year’s Nokia smartphone offerings – the Nokia C3 and the Nokia 5.3.

The new Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 were officially launched back in May this year, as refreshes of devices that bring mobile connectivity at the most affordable price point. Both devices come with a big 2.4-inch display and support only 2G networks. The main difference is that, to keep the cost down, the 125 comes without a camera, while the Nokia 150 has a camera and more refined design.

Sales of Nokia 125 start today, August 25th, at a retail price of INR 1,999 (22 euro, 26 USD). The Nokia 150 also goes on sale today, retailing for INR 2,299 (26 euro, 30USD), with both devices being available via top retailers and via Nokia Mobile online store.

Now, let’s talk about smartphones. Nokia Mobile is bringing the Nokia C3 to India, which will be the first international debut of the device outside China. The C3 targets the budget segment of the mobile market and comes with a 5.99-inch HD+ display, 5MP front camera, 8MP rear camera, 3040mAh battery, Xpress Button and Android 10. In India, the device will come with 1-year replacement guarantee. The pre-orders start of 1st September, with general sale start on 17th September. The device will be available at top retailers and at Nokia Mobile online store. The 2GB/16GB variant is priced at INR 7,499 (85 euro, 100 USD), while the 3GB/32GB version will cost INR 8,999 (102 euro, 120 USD). The C3 should soon come to other markets as well.

The star of the show is definitely the Nokia 5.3. An overall good midrange device finally found its way to India. Interesting about this launch is that it will be online only, at least in the beginning, with the 5.3 retailing via Amazon.in and Nokia Mobile online store. The pre-orders for the phone start today. The 4GB/64GB variant will cost you INR 13,999 (159 euro, 187USD), while the 6GB/64GB variant costs INR 15,499 (176 euro, 208 USD). The sale starts on 1st September.
