Nokia TA-1277 will come to Canada, reveals certification

Nokia Mobile plans to launch a new 4G smartphone in the upcoming months that has four variants in total, which are the Rest of World variants TA-1275 (Single SIM) and TA-1270 (Dual SIM), and the Americas (continent) variants TA-1277 (SS) and TA-1274 (DS). The TA-1277 variant is slated to make its appearance in Canada since it has been certified in the country. Some of the specifications of the Nokia TA-1277 are known because it has previously appeared on FCC’s certification site.

Known specifications of Nokia TA-1277:

  • SIM: Single SIM
  • Dimensions: 165.85 x 76.3mm
  • Display: About 6.5″
  • Battery: 4380 mAh
  • OS: Android 10

The Canadian certification reveals the SAR value, which is 0.71 W/kg against the head and 1.25 W/kg against the body, which is well below the ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection) SAR limit of 2.0 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of tissue, for mobile devices. The certificate further details the different types of radio equipment used in the device and their emission values.

This particular 4G Nokia smartphone has now been certified in three countries including Canada, so we can expect its launch soon.
