New Nokia 2 V Tella coming to the US, reveals Geekbench

About a week ago, we saw Nokia Mobile extending its partnership with Cricket Wireless in the US, by announcing the new Nokia C5 Endi, Nokia C2 Tava, and Nokia C2 Tennen. Nokia 8.3 5G also showed up on the Geekbench, which is probably a Verizon Wireless version for the US. Now, there is also a new Nokia smartphone that popped up on the Geekbench with the name “HMD Global Nokia 2 V Tella”.

Previously, we have seen Nokia Mobile announcing Nokia 2 V (rebranded Nokia 2.1) and Nokia 3 V (rebranded Nokia 3.2) in the US, which were designated for Verizon Wireless. Thus, the inclusion of ‘V’ in the name suggests that the Nokia 2 V Tella is also going to be a part of Verizon Wireless offerings.

The Geekbench listing does not reveal much about the device. However, it mentions that the device will have Android 10 out of the box, will be powered by MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) processor (quad-core), and will have 2GB RAM. The single-core score is 829, and the multi-core score is 2422.

You can also see the scores of Nokia 2 V Tella compared with the scores of Nokia 2.3 (2GB) and Nokia 2.2 (2GB) above, which are also powered by the same processor. The new device fairs better than both of them. This new device could be a rebranded Nokia 2.3 or it could be altogether a new device like the Nokia C2 Tava/Tennen.
