Official: Android 10 release started for Nokia 4.2

As it was stated in a press release to German publications, Nokia Mobile today started the official rollout of Android for the Nokia 4.2. Few days ago, the rollout also started for the Nokia 3.2.

 

The update rollout was announced by Nokia Mobile’s CPO Juho Sarvikas via Twitter. As it was with Nokia 3.2, details were shared on the Community Forum regarding the availability of the update. The update will be delivered in waves. The firs wave includes the following countries:

  • Belgium
  • Cambodia
  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • France (except Orange FR)
  • Georgia
  • Hong Kong
  • Iceland
  • India

  • Ireland
  • Kazakhstan
  • Kuwait
  • Laos
  • Latvia
  • Libya
  • Lithuania
  • Luxembourg
  • Macau
  • Malaysia
  • Mongolia

  • Netherlands

A 10th of the markets will get the update today, with half of the markets scheduled to get the update by April 12th. All mentioned markets above should get it by April 14th. The availability for other markets, that should be included in the second wave, will be announced on the forums soon.
