After getting the Wi-Fi certification and passing the BT SIG certification process, Nokia TA-1182 got certified by the FCC. The WiFi and BT certification documents revealed that this is most likely an affordable smartphone and released FCC documents revealed that also. They also revealed the dimensions of the phone (161.24 x 76.24 mm), and that it will be coming with the 4000 mAh battery and very basic HS-34 headset.
So, here is a list of the TA-1182 specs released by the certification processes: Model: Nokia TA-1182 Dimensions: 161.24 x 76.24 mm Battery: 4000 mAh Connectivity: BT, WiFi b/g/n, GPS Networks: GSM / WCDMA / LTE Software: 00VZW_0_15 (Android 9 Pie) Accessories: HS-34 headset
So, another affordable smartphone with the Nokia logo is coming, but I really don’t have a clue where to fit this one. Nokia TA-1182 could be a new Nokia 2 or another version of Nokia 3, but whatever it is, we will be seeing it soon.
*Update* After checking the published block diagram, I can say that this is a version of Nokia 3.2 that is coming to the US market.
