The Nokia 2V starts receiving the February and March security patch from Verizon US. While we didn’t know how much this new update weighs, it’s expected to come in pretty decent size since it includes two months’ worth of security patches. Verizon US seems pretty consistent with its roll-out cycle with the Nokia 2V. Earlier this year, the Nokia 2V also received two month’s worth of security patches – both December and January security patches.
The Nokia 2V is an improved version of the Nokia 2 for the US market. Instead of using the Snapdragon 212 SoC, Nokia Mobile replaced the SoC with the Snapdragon 425. This little SoC upgrade should allow for a less bloody software roll-out for the Nokia 2V in the future – as we all know.
