Nokia 2.3 is bringing back the recommended shot from old Nokia smart camera app

Nokia Mobile published a new demo video on its YouTube channel that shows something we last time saw with Nokia Lumia phones, actually the Nokia Smart Camera app for Lumia phones. The camera feature of the Nokia 2.3 is named the recommended shot, which used to be called the best shot and it was a part of 5 features Nokia used in its smart camera app for Lumia phones. Todays version of the feature is based on AI, and it enables the user of Nokia 2.3 to choose the best Action shot from 90 shots it took 1.5 seconds before and after the shutter button was pressed.
Check the video to see how the feature works.

Also, here is the video that shows how the Nokia Smart Camera was working and what features it used to have. I just quickly found The Verge’s demo video that shows the Smart app in detail. If you open your Lumia 920, you should have it there.

I don’t know if Nokia Mobile is deliberately taking old Nokia tricks out of the sleeve, but that camera option is useful and more than some old Nokia nostalgia at work. Thanks to this, I took my old Nokia Lumia 920, charged it and checked again the great camera software Nokia used to build.
