Internal beta of Android 10 for Nokia 6.1, 6.1 Plus, 7 Plus and 7.1 leaked online

Nokia Mobile opened the Android 10 update cycle with the release of the new OS for the Nokia 8.1. During this quarter, Nokia 9 PureView, that was already spotted running Android 10, and Nokia 7.1 are expected to receive the new version of Google’s operating system. Other devices are scheduled for early 2020, but Nokia Mobile is already internally testing Android 10 for some of the most popular Nokia smartphones.

According to XDA-developers, Android 10 internal beta builds for Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 7.1 were leaked on their forum thanks to their senior member, and a well-known figure in the Nokia/Microsoft community, hikari_calyx. To download and test the leaked beta builds, which users are doing on their own risk, you need to have an unlocked bootloader to allow smooth return on Android 9 Pie in case of problems. Considering it’s an internal beta, problems are possible, if not probable.

Nokia Mobile already internally testing Android 10 for devices scheduled in Q1 2020 is a great thing and maybe the Android 10 update will be delivered ahead of schedule. Maybe as a Christmas present? 🙂
