New Nokia smartphones and feature phones on pre-orders in Russia

Lately we have been mentioning the availability of Nokia phones in Russia quite a lot. Russia is one of the five biggest smartphone market on the planet and a lot of Nokia fans from Russia told us that the availability of Nokia phones there has become worse by the day. With the new Nokia devices on the horizon, the fix might be in.

Nokia Mobile started taking pre-orders for the whole portfolio of phones announced at IFA2019 in Berlin this month. Nokia 7.2 (4/64GB) can be pre-order for 17,990 rubles (€252, $279, INR19,968), while the regular price is 19,990 rubles (€280, $310, INR22,188), taxes included. The Nokia 6.2 (3/32GB) can be pre-order for 12,990 rubles (€182, $201, INR14,414), with the regular price set at 14,990 rubles (€210, $232, INR16,633).

The prices of the 7.2 and 6.2 in Russia on pre-orders do look good, and the fact that you can pre-order every color, including the nice green one, is also a great sign of improvement in terms of distribution on that markets.

All announced feature phones are also on pre-orders. Nokia 110 can be pre-ordered for 1,790 rubles (€25, $27, INR1,985), Nokia 800 Tough for 7,990 rubles (€112, $124, INR8,865), while the flip phone Nokia 2720 Flip can be pre-ordered for 6,490 rubles (€91, $100, INR7,199).

The prices of feature phones are on the lines of the global prices Nokia Mobile announced at IFA2019, which is good, considering the Nokia 800 Tough and 2720 Flip are extremely attractive devices. The smartphones are priced below the announced price, which is great.

Hopefully with the arrival of new devices, the distribution situation in Russia will greatly improve. The delivery is set from 2 to 7 days, but Russian is not my strong side, so if a reader could confirm that in comments, that would be great. 🙂
