Nokia TA-1181 and TA-1187 passed the FCC certification
|Two new Nokia models have passed the FCC test. New models that have been tested are Nokia TA-1181 and TA-1187. Nokia TA-1181 is actually a Nokia TA-1196, which is a Dual-SIM version of Nokia TA-1178. The change in identification has been requested for the marketing purposes as stated in the cover letter to FCC. The phone specs have not been changed. This is still a phone that will support 2G, 3G, LTE, NFC, FM radio, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Nokia TA-1187 is a new model number according to the list of all the TA numbers I have. This phone will support also 2G, 3G, 4G networks, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Strangely, on an antenna location diagram, the main camera was not marked. Could this mean that Nokia TA-1187 will come with some kind of pop-up camera module, or the camera is missing since TA-1187 is an ultimate 4G feature phone :)? Usually, those diagrams are correct and if there is a camera at the back, engineers at FCC would mark it, right?
What are those leakers doing? Leak something 🙂
