Video: Unboxing of a Nokia 5220 XpressMusic

I don’t know about you, but I love unboxing videos. It has been a long time since I did an unboxing video of a Nokia s40 featurephone.

To demonstrate how long it has been, here is the unboxing video of Nokia 5220 XpressMusic. The boxes of old Nokia smartphones were full of accessories. Once you bought the Nokia Series 40 running Nokia phone, you barely needed to look for any additional equipment. Maybe you would go for a car mount or a 12V charger, but everything you needed was already packed in the box.

While the box is interesting, the Nokia 5220 XM is enchanting. The model is RM-411, and it was build in Nokia manufacturing plant in Hungary, as many phones back in 2008. That simple phone came with some bold design lines, and I think that 5220 XM would still be eye picking even today. I know that times have changed and that there is a little chance of seeing this kind of design embedded in a new Nokia feature phone, but XpressMusic is also a great series of Nokia phones that should be revived. Maybe Nokia 5800 XM could be the next phone to be revived or the next one after the Nokia Communicator? In the meantime, enjoy the unboxing video.

Anyway, if you love the unboxing videos of old Nokia phones, there is a ton of them on Nokia Phones Collection YouTube channel. Kudos to the owner of that channel!
