Nokia 9 PureView on pre-orders in Russia; Store pages up in China

The Nokia 9 PureView can now be preordered in Russia, one of the biggest markets for Nokia Mobile. The Russian market is quite interesting, especially after learning that there is a cap on number of Android One devices that can be sold there each year. The 9 PureView is up on pre-orders via the official Nokia store for a bit less than 50,000 rubles or 666 euros, with True Wireless Earbuds as a pre-order gift.

Checking the specs on the Russian store, one can see that the device has OIS and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is both wrong. Before pre-ordering, do contact the Nokia store and ask if the device is member of Android One program or not, because of the already mentioned market regulation. I didn’t find the delivery date, so if any of our readers have that info, comments are open. 🙂

Another thing interesting about the Nokia 9 is that the device didn’t first go on sale in China, as so many (if not most) of Nokia smartphones did. The device will be available in China, because the product page is up on local Nokia site and there are store pages at JD.com and Nokia’s official store. The price is set at 9999CNY, which is 1,310 euros, but that’s the placeholder price. The real price will be revealed with the release date.

Nokia 9 also appeared on TENAA, with all the specs and photos available, so China availability is practically confirmed.
