Nokia 3.1 soon available in the United States
HMD Global is really careful in entering the US market again and they should be, considering how much Nokia invested in “Operation Rolling Thunder” back in Lumia days without much success. Last year, HMD decided to offer just two devices to US customers – the Nokia 6 and the Nokia 2. This year they already offer the new Nokia 6.1 via Amazon and other retailers there, and it seems that the new Nokia 3.1 is the next device that will make its way “across the pond”.
Retailer B&H, that also offers the Nokia 6.1 in the US, listed the new Nokia 3.1 on its website as “coming soon”. The precise date of arrival isn’t given, but the price is set at 159 dollars (€134) without taxes, that differ from state to state. The device is carrier unlocked and supports GSM networks like AT&T or T-Mobile.
Nokia 3.1 is also available on pre-orders in Russia, via the official Nokia store for 11,990 rubles (165 euros, with tax). Nokia 3.1’s availability is set for this month, while the Nokia 2.1 and 5.1 global release should follow next month.
