Over 2000 Nokia 8 Android Oreo beta testers already

Nokia Mobile Finland shared an interesting info regarding the recently (re)started Nokia Beta Labs, that allow Nokia 8 users to install, test and give feedback about the Android 8.0 Oreo (beta) version of Google’s OS. Nokia Mobile posted on Facebook that already over 2000 Nokia 8 Devices downloaded and installed the Android Oreo (beta) OS.

The number of 2000 users doesn’t seem too much, and overall it isn’t, but only a limited number of flagship owners, who follow Nokia on social media, would install a beta OS on their device and risk potential problems. I personally believe that 2000 beta testers are more than sufficient, if they really give valuable feedback about the 8’s real life performance and problems on Oreo. Hopefully, the official version of Oreo for Nokia 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 should be available soon, probably by the end of the year.
