#Nokia 8 with Android 8 Oreo shows up at #GFXBench
|Nokia 8 in variants TA-1004, TA-1012, and TA-1052, wrongly called Nokia 9 on GFXBench, appeared with Android 8.0 Oreo on that service. Days before announcement, we found on Geekbench a Nokia 8 variant running Android Oreo and HMD Global during the Nokia 8 launch event said that Oreo is in “late” stages of development and that Nokia 8 should be one of the first smartphones to receive it.
Nokia 8 is HMD’s first Nokia-branded Android flagship that comes with Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM, 5.3-inch 2K screen, 64GB internal storage, 3090mAh battery and a 13MP dual ZEISS camera on the back. The device is already available in many markets, mostly in Europe, and retails for an announced price of €600, but in most markets it is less than that.
The device comes with Android 7.1.1, and as seen above, should soon receive the Android Oreo Update. Just like other Nokia smartphones, the Nokia 3, 5 and 6.
