More #Nokia 3310 clones out on the market; now carrying the Nokia logo

A few weeks ago Malaysian tech blog VTechgraphy reported that Nokia 3310 (2017) clones went on sale in the Malaysian market, and the official Nokia retailer Avaxx threatened to sue every outlet selling the fake devices. The first batch of Nokia 3310 (2017) clones didn’t carry the Nokia logo, and they didn’t look exactly like HMD’s  3310. Now, more sophisticated 3310 clones carrying the Nokia logo on the front are on the market, and they are harder to distinguish, compared to the first batch.

VTechgraphy points out that the new 3310 clones have a smaller screen compared to the original HMD’s Nokia 3310 (2017); forward pushed keyboard, compared to the flat with the surface one on HMD’s 3310. Also, the UI is different from HMD’s.

The new Nokia 3310 (2017) is still unavailable for purchase, and once the device goes on sale, we recommend buying it from trusted outlets. If you doubt in the authenticity of a 3310 unit, contact your local HMD representative or via social media @nokiamobile. We are here to help, also.
