Rumors: New #Nokia #Android smartphones coming to #India in early April

After sources from Algeria stated that the upcoming Nokia smartphones are expected to go on sale in March, and a Portugeese retailer moved that timeframe to April, we now have information that Nokia smartphones are coming to India in early April.

We received this info from a reader who asked a Nokia Technologies staff about it. The staff said that phones will go on sale on the 5th April, or in the first week of April. We cannot confirm that the timeframe the employee provided to our reader is correct, but early April fits with previous rumors, and the words of HMD’s CEO  Arto Nummela, who said that the phones will be available for purchase shortly after the announcement.

We expect HMD Global to announce new Nokia-branded Devices on 26th February, at MWC17 in Barcelona. We hope to see a global version of Nokia 6, and a device running Snapdragon 835, but honestly, we are excited for whatever HMD has to show.
