More details about Snapdragon 835, the possible processor of #Nokia #P1, emerged online

Right before the biggest consumer electronics show on the planet, CES2017 in Las Vegas, more details about Qualcomm’s upcoming top of the line processor Snapdragon 835 surfaced on the web.

The processor for 2017 flagship devices will be manufactured in cooperation with Samsung in 10nm technology. The Snapdragon 835 will consume less energy than Snapdragon 820, with 27% boost in performance, and 25% boost in graphics capabilities thanks to the Adreno 540 GPU. The 835 supports Quick Charge 4 Technology, which is 20% faster than Quick Charge 3. Additionally, Snapdragon 835 will support 4K 60fps video playback, DirectX12, OpenGL ES, Vulkan etc.

The official unveiling of Snapdragon 835 is expected on CES2017 this month, with market availability in the First half of this year.

Snapdragon 835 is rumored to be the processor of choice for the upcoming HMD Nokia-branded flagship Nokia P1 (or A1). Apart from Snapdragon 835, P1 is rumored to have 6GB of RAM, and a 23MP camera with ZEISS lens and graphene-based sensor.
