December Security Patch finally rolling for Nokia 6. Oreo beta available

Juho Sarvikas tweeted that Google’s December Security Patch issue has been taken care of and that it is rolling to the 6’s all around the globe. The problem was with OTA server capacity as Sarvikas stated.

 

Ok so we were a bit too fast to release Beta Labs for Nokia 6. I did not realize that December Security patch SW deployment was not yet at 100% due to OTA server capacity. Sincere apologies here and will not repeat this 😕. You will have it shortly.

This update was needed for Nokia 6 to get Oreo beta update and Oreo is downloading right as this post is going to the web. This patch was rather large with 690.2MB but obviously brought needed files for the Oreo Beta to be able to arrive. Yeeey 🙂
