Nokia also announced the commercial launch of WING, the IoT network that will support the IoT business Nokia is developing lately. Actually, this will enable operators to provide seamless IoT network to their customers. Well, this kind of reminds me of a Terminator plot. Hope that Nokia isn’t Skynet :). Definitely check out the great promo to learn more about WING. It is interesting to see that Nokia is present on almost every continent (everywhere except Antarctica). Also, WING has its dedicated Command Center that is active 24/7.
None of this couldn’t be available without sharp focus on performance management and continuous improvement that is characteristic for Nokia. New COO Joerg Erlemeier addressed the crowd and mentioned that Nokia needs to focus on making quality products that will be recognized by buyers.
Joerg Erlemeier: "I own Quality" is our mantra. #Quality is the heart of our brand promise. Quality comes first in decision making. No compromise. No debate. https://t.co/ujzBYOXJ1g #NokiaIAR pic.twitter.com/mWs3aBNloq

At the end, it is important to mention that Nokia shipped its first super fast FP4 router processor. That happened 2 weeks ahead of schedule which proves everything said above. Nokia started early with the transition towards future 5G networks and now it seems ready to conquer the market which is demanding and highly competitive.
Basil Alwan: We shipped our first FP4 last Friday, 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The FP4 era has started for us. The FP4 is a really impressive step, and it gives us IP technology leadership . https://t.co/daCDy8zQlr #NokiaIAR #NetworksReimagined pic.twitter.com/pvztq8gAdh
